About Amuse
Amuse is an online Trading Card Game with cards of Asian Personalities. What makes Amuse special is that it's designed to work like a talent agency. From when you join to when you reach your peak, you're striving to become the number one entertainer of the entertainment world. If you want to know more about Amuse indepth, read below for more short "abouts" to answer some "what, when and whys".
Why "Amuse"?
I chose to name this place "Amuse" mainly because I was sitting in my Chemistry class one day, thinking, "What would I name a TCG that's basically based on personalities?" Then I thought about all the interesting names that entertainment agencies usually have for themselves. So, I went to Wiki @ D-addicts and went through random actors and actresses profiles, and looked at their agencies, and the best one that wasn't too strange and short and sweet was Amuse. And that's the basic story of how the name was thought of.
What do you mean by "Asian personalities"?
One definition of a personality in the dictionary is a famous, notable, or prominent person; celebrity (from Dictionary.com), so basically my thought of the theme was to have decks that were of these many popular celebrities that people adore on a normal basis...
Haven't I seen you (Satsuki) around before?
Yes... you may have seen me around before. I was the co-owner and co-found of FROOTS (dead), and the co-owner and co-founder of ALL or NOTHING. I am also an active member of Countdown, so there's a good chance that you may have seen me in any of the three TCGs mentioned above.
About the card design
The card design is actually a mixture of FROOTS' (dead) second card design and the final card design of Crackpot. The final design for Amuse's cards was basically an accident though, and probably done subconsciously...
About Amuse's current layout
The current layout of Amuse features four members from the thirteen member, Korean boy band, Super Junior: Leeteuk, Donghae, Heechul, and Gyuhyun. The images are from one of their photo of the month sets featuring each of the boys at a party. The reason I decided to make this layout for Amuse was because August 1st (which is also the day this layout was put to use) is my birthday.
